The 4th Annual KBK5K is just around the corner and will once again be held in Conway, Arkansas at the Conway High West campus on September 5th, 2011 in memory of Kelly Burger. This race is for you regardless if you are young, old, somewhere in between, a beginner or a veteran runner. We hope that you will come out to celebrate Kelly's life by taking part in the activity that he loved, cross country running. In fact, to ensure that everyone can participate, we have added a "Lit'l Minnow" race for children 12 and under.
The proceeds from the race will be dispersed between a fund that will be set up to buy athletic shoes for kids wanting to be on the Conway High Cross Country Team, the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation to be used for youth programs, a memorial to Kelly, and a scholarship fund for a worthy Conway Cross Country Team member.
