The Kelly's Bass Kickin' 5k Board Members and Kelly's family would like to thank everyone that ran, helped with, and sponsored the 2nd annual race. We hope that everyone that attended had a great time. We are certain that Kelly was watching the race with a smirk on his face from ear-to-ear. If you have any suggestions for next year, please feel free to email us.
Get your running shoes ready for the 3rd Annual Kelly's Bass Kickin' 5k race to be held in Conway, Arkansas on September 6, 2010 in memory of Kelly Burger. Whether you are young, old, or somewhere in between, we hope that you will come out to celebrate Kelly's life by taking part in the activity he loved, cross country running. In fact, to ensure that everyone can participate, we have added a "Lit'l Minnow" race for children 12 and under.
Proceeds from the race will be divided between a fund that will be set up to buy athletic shoes for kids at Conway High School, Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation to be used for youth programs, and a scholarship fund for a worthy Conway Cross Country runner.
At this time our scheduled special guest and MC for the event is Wildman Wilson with Arkansas Game and Fish.
